About Allen Harder, CMT

MY PHILOSOPHY
My bodywork philosophy is centered on finding ways to holistically integrate the body, mind, and spirit to restore balance. As a bodyworker, I am passionate about blending techniques from around the world that predate civilizations, as well as Western medical approaches to help every part work together as a whole.
I value safety and comfort for all my clients whenever they work with me. I prefer to use a video consultation call with new clients to ensure that each person who chooses to work with me feels comfortable and empowered with knowledge, clarity, and intentional communication long before we ever hold an in-person session. As a bodyworker, I especially value maintaining positive connections and relationships with ongoing clients, as we work through the progression stages of healing together. In my work, I understand that all bodies are different. It is important to me that every client feels understood and is offered the very best of my skills and abilities.
As a certified CMT, I have completed over 10,000 sessions throughout my career and have only grown in my skills and knowledge since. I am committed to pursuing my continued education to further enrich future client sessions and experiences.
In addition to my CMT certification, I also have training in CranioSacral, cupping, postural balancing, abdominal palpation and treatment, manual therapy applications for the male and female pelvic bowl, Reiki, and Neuromuscular therapy.
I also practice Myofascial release, Shiatsu, Trigger Point, Lymphatic, Deep Tissue, Sports, Reflexology, Swedish, PNF Stretching, and a few styles of energy work. Each of these methodologies helps me elevate my sessions with clients, enrich my knowledge, and further the tools I have to help my clients experience the very best during their sessions and their journey working one-on-one with me.
I'm currently working on a Personal Training Certification. After that, I'll be taking a Trauma and Somatics course to deepen what I know on that subject, and I plan to enroll in a Master’s degree program for Chinese Medicine next spring.
